The New York Botanical Garden is hosting a wonderful Daffodil Celebration & Wine Weekend on April 29-30 from 10am - 6pm. Now’s the time to take in the beauty of flowering trees and newly planted daffodils while enjoying a selection of local wines (souvenir wine glass included)! Take a trip out of the city and venture into Staten Island to Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden where you can immerse yourself in the tranquility that is the New York Scholar's Garden. Surround yourself with the beauty of flowering pink cherry blossom trees at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Every year, they hold the Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival, a two-day event which is happening on April 29-30 from 10am - 6pm. In addition to the beautiful showcase of cherry blossom trees, there are over 60 events that celebrate Japanese culture including dance performances, martial arts shows, fashion shows, live music, tea ceremonies, and much more.
