What better way to start off your Thanksgiving weekend with the official Macy's Thanksgiving Parade? This fun filled event is good for all ages, and all ages definitely attend. You'll see families, couples, groups of friends and even pets(dogs dressed like turkeys!) in the crowd at this traditional NYC celebration. Famous for their Parade Floats and ginormous Parade Balloons, the live music and colorful marching bands will start off your Thanksgiving Weekend right. The parade officially starts at 9am EST at 77th Street and Central Park West and ends at 12pm EST on 34th Street. Admission: Free
2. Luxe Thanksgiving Dinner
A prix fixe three course gourmet Thanksgiving meal?! Yes please! Treat yourself right with a meal at Green Fig NYC, where the heavenly aroma of each dish you are served will make you swoon. Save yourself from the stress of deciding what you'll be eating and enjoy the selections of this specially designed Thanksgiving menu. It's an affordable price of $42 per person, or you can save yourself a few bucks and purchase a deal on Pulsd for $39 which also includes 2 craft cocktails. Amazing cocktails here in this private and dimly lit speakeasy of NYC. It will be no good trying to make a reservation here as it is first come first seated. But don't let that discourage you as the drinks here are no joke. Classy, sophisticated and all around tasty, these crafty cocktails will definitely leave a positive first impression on you. You'll sip to enjoy rather than to get down and dirty, which will be perfect after a glorious and filling Thanksgiving meal. If you want an experience you won't forget, Death&Co is the place you'll want to go to. Hours are from 6pm to 2am, located in the East Village. Parties up to 8 people. If you end up having to wait for your table, no worries! Explore St. Marks 2 blocks away. From 3rd Avenue to Avenue A, St. Marks is vibrant, full of life and fun to explore.
